Heavenly Cupcake Tasting Party

Know what you’re looking at? FREE CUPCAKES. Yep, with no strings attached. Yesterday, the new owners of Heavenly Cupcake hosted a free tasting party, where fans sampled the newest flavors and voted for their favorite. The winning cupcake will become flavor of the month.

The three new flavors are toasted coconut (coconut cake with coconut cream frosting), thin mint (mint chocolate and mint cake topped with minty frosting and thin mint cookies), and Georgia peach (peach cake with a peach slice baked inside, topped with peach buttercream and a peach slice).

I liked them all, but gave the thin mint cupcake my first place vote, followed by the coconut and the peach. At time of publishing, votes are still being tabulated, but you can check Heavenly Cupcake’s Facebook page for final results. While you’re there, “like” them to stay up to date about their next tasting party, which should happen sometime in April.

Full-sized versions of all three of the newest flavors were also available during the tasting party. Here’s hoping the thin mint clinches the vote. I’m already craving another fix.
